Check of level and oil replacement in manual transmission

1 Before replacement of oil manual transmission it should be heated-up to palm temperature for what pass on the car of 15 minutes

2 Establish the car horizontally on supports and remove the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to Section Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.

3 Turn out a stopper for заливания oils-1 in manual transmission. If an oil quantity, oil level in norm pours out, and the box is tight. Otherwise check up a finger, whether reaches level of oil of the bottom edge of an aperture.

In the presence of more considerable leak of oil will establish the reason and eliminate it.


4 Substitute under a box capacity. Turn out a drain stopper-2 and merge oil.

Points of sale of oil accept free of charge certain quantity of the fulfilled oil. Therefore at purchase of new oil keep the receipt and the canister for possibility of delivery of the fulfilled oil! Protect environment, at all do not pour out the fulfilled oil and do not delete it together with a household waste.


5 Screw a drain stopper the moment specified in Specifications.
6 Fill in oil in a box. The type and oil volume is resulted in Specifications.

If near to a stopper for oil pouring there is a yellow or green label, it is necessary to fill a box with special oil BMW if there is an orange label, it is necessary to fill a box with oil ATF-Dexron resolved BMW

Oil for transmissions has high viscosity, therefore it is not necessary to fill in too much oil at once. Wait some time and substitute capacity for gathering surplus of oil


7 Tighten a stopper of a jellied mouth the moment specified in Specifications.
8 Lower the car on wheels. Establish the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
