Removal and installation of atomizers

The damaged atomizers can lead to strong blows at the engine work, reminding work of the engine with the damaged bearings. In the presence of the similar phenomena it is necessary to start the engine on single turns and by turns to weaken накидные nuts of pipelines of a high pressure. If at отворачивании any nut blows disappear, it specifies in presence of defect of a corresponding atomizer. The atomizer by means of a manometre (work HUNDRED) is checked.

The damaged atomizers should be replaced, as their adjustment or repair are not possible.


First signs of malfunction of an atomizer the following:

- Falling of capacity of the engine;
- Excessively black exhaust gases;
- Dense dark blue smoke at cold start;
- The high expense of fuel;
- Engine overheat;
- Knocks in one or several tsi - линдрах;
- Incomplete combustion.

 REMOVAL

1 Remove the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
2 Clear топливопроводы a high pressure a cold cleaner.

3 Remove топливопроводы a high pressure. For this purpose turn on накидным a key, for example, HAZET 4550 накидные nuts at atomizers and ТНВД.

Do not deform топливопроводы. Remove топливопроводы in the complete set.

4 Close apertures protective caps or a film with elastic bands that the dirt has not got to them.
5 Disconnect a cable going to an atomizer of the fourth cylinder.

6 Disconnect drainage hoses between atomizers by means of pincers.

Drainage hoses should be necessarily replaced.

7 Disconnect collars of fastening of atomizers-2 and take out atomizers.

If the atomizer is not taken out, it is possible to take advantage of a shock stripper. For its application it is necessary to make the special tool which is screwed on an atomizer.

The specified tool can be made as follows. Cut off an old atomizer on distance about 5 sm behind накидной nuts. Solder firm solder nut М6 to the cut off end of the pipeline.

Carefully clear the made tool. The dirt which has got to an atomizer can put it out of action!

8 Screw the tool on an atomizer and attach to the soldered nut a shock stripper. Pull out an atomizer.
9 Remove a heat-shielding lining.


 INSTALLATION

10 Necessarily establish a new heat-shielding lining between a head of cylinders and an atomizer.
11 Insert an atomizer.

The atomizer with the gauge of moving of a needle is always inserted into the fourth, that is in the back cylinder. To learn it it is possible on the attached cable.

12 Join a cable of the fourth atomizer.
13 Establish on atomizers tightening collars. Tighten nuts of fastening of collars the moment 10 Н•м.
14 Put on new drainage hoses between atomizers.
15 Fix топливопроводы a high pressure to atomizers and ТНВД the moment 25 Н•м.
16 Establish the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.
