Braking

Hydroplaning

Braking

Parking

The optimum design of a running gear of your car guarantees high traffic safety and comfort, and also possibility of a sports manner of driving.

If the tjagovo-drawbar is established at factory the car is equipped strengthened подвеской* the back bridge which compensates weight of the tjagovo-drawbar and optimises dynamic characteristics at movement without the trailer.

At дооснащении the car tjagovo-coupling устройством* it should have certification BMW. And its installation should be made technically competently on firm HUNDRED. It is recommended also дооснастить the car the strengthened suspension bracket.

Other systems of a suspension bracket offered to free sale in system of trade by autoaccessories, have no certification BMW.

With a spherical head it is necessary to look after the tjagovo-drawbar according to applied instructions of the manufacturer that will provide possibility of fast installation and device dismantle.

Tjagovo-drawbar installation limits a system effectiveness of the back bumpers absorbing energy of collisions on small speeds at the expense of elastic deformations.

 REMOVAL

1 Undertake cut in the bottom part of a cover of a nest and pull it back.
2 Before removal and installation of a spherical head familiarise with the applied instruction.


 INSTALLATION

Insert a cover in directing and then press it.

Safe load on a support дышла

It is a question of loading from which дышло the trailer presses on a spherical head of the tjagovo-drawbar. To define it it is possible, for example, floor household scales.

By the rules operating in Germany, it is size should make a minimum of 25 kg.

The admissible size cannot be exceeded (address to Specifications), its maximum use however is desirable.

The weight from which дышло the trailer presses on the support, influences behaviour of the car. Therefore at movement with the trailer admissible indicators of full weight of the car and loading on road from its back bridge should not be exceeded. Load-carrying capacity partially decreases because of subtraction from it weight of the tjagovo-drawbar, and at movement with the trailer also weights from which дышло the trailer presses on the support. It should not be exceeded and an indicator of an admissible lump of the car with the trailer.

Loading


Trailer loading should be made so that cargo took places as it is possible more low and as it is possible more close to a bridge axis.

Fall of the centre of gravity of the trailer essentially improves traffic safety of the car with the trailer.

It is impossible to exceed indicators of a lump of the trailer and admissible weight of towed cargo. The smaller size is defining.

At trailer purchase it is recommended to request from the seller guarantee acknowledgement by the manufacturer of its actual weight and load-carrying capacity.

Movement on lifting


The size of an overcome bias (measured on a sea level) is limited 12 % for safety reasons and in order to avoid creation of hindrances to a transport stream, and at the increased weight of towed cargo (in the resolved cases) - 8 %.

From experience it is known that in process of height increase above sea level capacity of the engine falls. At movement on mountain roads it is necessary to remember, in particular, ability deterioration to троганию from a place on lifting in this connection it is necessary to refuse full use of admissible limits of weight of the car and the trailer.

Movement under a bias


The special attention is demanded by descents of roads. On an entrance to them it is necessary to be switched to a hill-climbing gear, if necessary up to the first (at complete set АТ the selector lever is translated in position 2) then on small speed to move under a bias.

The maximum speed


The maximum speed of movement with the trailer on roads Germany is limited 80 km/h. Admissible weights of towed cargo are defined so that at this speed is provided normal траекторная stability. Even if in other countries movement with higher speed is authorised, all the same for safety reasons it is not necessary to go faster.

Trailer wagging can be eliminated only immediate braking.

Pressure of air in tyres


Pressure of air in car and trailer tyres should be a subject of special attention. For the trailer the norms established by its manufacturer are defining.

Rear-view mirrors
