Antiblocking system of brakes (ABS)Action principle
System ABS raises active safety of the car, preventing blocking of wheels at braking. After all blocking of wheels is exclusively dangerous, as forward wheels become uncontrollable, and going юзом back wheels can lead to drift of the car and emission on other party of movement.
System ABS allows in any concrete conditions (at movement on a straight line, on turn, on the asphalted ice-covered or sea road, etc.) to reduce a brake way to a minimum. Basically at each braking ABS should solve two problems, providing траекторную stability, reliable controllability and manoeuvrability of the car at movement on the roads different as a covering (asphalted, concrete) and being in a different condition (ice-covered, covered with a dirt, snow, water).
Features of driving with ABS
